RSM- Deep Thoughts Seminar
For 10th-12th Grade Students & Parents
Young adulthood is weighty, difficult, and exhilarating. Between the ages of 16 & 24, most people make crucial decisions that shape their life trajectory, yet the way forward is rarely clear. Emotion, ambition, insecurity, and competing arguments in and around us muddy the waters.
Student Seminars are designed to help students, with their parents, work through some crucial issues related to life and godliness. We need to be firmly cemented to the Word of God. We need our family's counsel and support. We need the gospel's life-giving power. We need the church as the family of God. We need to, together in a context that honors those commitments, think deeply and clearly about life.
Topic: Following Jesus in College
This, our second Student Seminar, will bring up good discussion around challenges Christian college or college-aged students face when becoming independent, like: How do I prioritize my time? What kind of church should I look for and join? How can I build healthy friendships? What temptations will I face in the dorm room and in the classroom, and how will I handle those temptations?
We hope that students 10th grade and above, along with their parent(s), will join us for this seminar. We will meet at the Daniel's house on Friday, May 5th at 6:30pm.
We will eat dinner together. Then, we will hear some teaching and have discussion on this important topic.
Daniels Address: 21427 Avalon Queen Dr. Spring, TX 77379
