Deep Thoughts - RSM Student Seminar
February 10, 2017
6:00pm – 10:00pm
For 10th-12th Grade Students & Parents
Young adulthood is weighty, difficult, and exhilarating. Between the ages of 16 & 24, most people make crucial decisions that shape their life trajectory, yet the way forward is rarely clear. Emotion, ambition, insecurity, and competing arguments in and around us muddy the waters.
Student Seminars are designed to help students, with their parents, work through some crucial issues related to life and godliness. We need to be firmly cemented to the Word of God. We need our family's counsel and support. We need the gospel's life-giving power. We need the church as the family of God. We need to, together in a context that honors those commitments, think deeply and clearly about life.
Topic: Dating & Relationships
This first seminar will be about what is often at the forefront for young adults: dating & relationships. When should I date? Whom should I date? Should I date at all? If so, how should I approach it? What about friendships? Can young men and women be "just friends"? What does a relationship that honors God look like?
We hope that students 10th grade and above, along with their parent(s), will join us for this seminar. We will meet at the Curry's house on Friday, Feb 10th, at 6pm.
